Article 114: Auditor General

There shall be an Auditor General for the Cayman Islands who shall be appointed by the Governor.
The Auditor General shall audit and report on the public accounts of the Cayman Islands and shall undertake such other value-for-money investigations as he or she considers appropriate.
In the exercise of his or her functions, the Auditor General shall not be subject to the direction or control of any other person or authority, save that the Auditor General is answerable to the Public Accounts Committee.
