Article 17: Protection of Children

Every child has the right to such measures of protection as are required by his or her status as a minor on the part of his or her family, government and society.
Government shall take measures to ensure that every child has the right to food, clothing and shelter, to health care, to education, and to be protected from abuse, neglect, violence and exploitation.
