Article 18: Protection of the Environment

Government shall, in all its decisions, have due regard to the need to foster the health, safety and environmental well-being of the people of the Cayman Islands.
Government shall foster an environment that is not harmful to the health or well-being of present and future generations and shall establish appropriate agencies to monitor and regulate the activities of persons who affect the environment.
