Article 35: Acting Governor
Chapter II - The Governor·~1 min read
Whenever the office of Governor is vacant or the holder of the office is absent from the Cayman Islands or is for any reason unable to perform the functions of the office, the Deputy Governor shall perform those functions.
If the Deputy Governor is also absent or unable to act, the Governor may designate a public officer to perform the functions of the office.
