Article 44: The Cabinet

There shall be a Cabinet for the Cayman Islands which shall consist of the Premier, not less than six other Ministers appointed in accordance with section 49 (one of whom shall be designated as the Deputy Premier), and, as ex officio members, the Deputy Governor and the Attorney General.
The Cabinet shall be the principal instrument of policy and shall be charged with the general direction and control of the government of the Cayman Islands and shall be collectively responsible to the Legislative Assembly for any advice given to the Governor.
