Article 52: Tenure of Ministers

A Minister other than the Premier shall vacate his or her office if he or she ceases to be a member of the Legislative Assembly, if his or her appointment is revoked by the Governor acting in accordance with the advice of the Premier, if the Premier resigns from office or is removed from office, or if the Minister is absent from the Cayman Islands for a period exceeding such period as may be prescribed by Standing Orders without the leave of the Governor.
