Article 49: Appointment of Premier and Ministers

The Governor shall appoint as Premier the elected member of the Legislative Assembly who is best able to command the confidence of a majority of the elected members of the Assembly.
The Governor shall, acting in accordance with the advice of the Premier, appoint the other Ministers from among the elected members of the Legislative Assembly.
