Article 48: Cabinet Secretary

There shall be a Cabinet Office, the head of which shall be the Cabinet Secretary.
The Cabinet Secretary shall be a Caymanian and shall be appointed by the Governor after consultation with the Premier.
The Cabinet Secretary shall have charge of the Cabinet Office and shall be responsible, in accordance with such instructions as may be given to him or her by the Governor or the Premier, for arranging the business of and keeping the minutes of the Cabinet, and for conveying the conclusions of the Cabinet to the appropriate person or authority.
