Article 63: Tenure of Office of Elected Members

The seat of an elected member of the Legislative Assembly shall become vacant upon the dissolution of the Assembly, if the member is absent from sittings of the Assembly for such period and in such circumstances as may be prescribed by Standing Orders, if the member ceases to be a Caymanian, or if the member resigns his or her seat.
