Article 77: Introduction of Bills

Any member of the Legislative Assembly may introduce a bill, motion or petition in the Assembly, and the same shall be debated and disposed of according to Standing Orders.
A bill for an Act imposing or increasing any tax, charge or duty shall not be introduced except on the recommendation of the Minister charged with responsibility for finance.
