Article 68: Leader of the Opposition

The Governor shall appoint as Leader of the Opposition the person who, in the judgment of the Governor, is best able to command the support of the largest number of opposition members.
The Leader of the Opposition shall vacate his or her office when the member ceases to be a member of the Assembly, after a general election, if the member becomes a member of the Cabinet, or if the member resigns.
